“Motherfuckin’ Monsters,” ink on bristol, 16” x 4”, 2011. The assignment was to draw a 5-panel sequence depicting an interaction between two characters chosen from a list of several different “types.” I chose to illustration two “creatures from the underworld,” thought of drawing a couple of “monsters,” and then immediately came up with this. Really, the only thought process behind it was that I’d been looking for an excuse to draw a Kanye-looking thing for awhile. Also, when you’re spending your entire weekend indoors drawing comics it’s sometimes nice to imagine everything you could be doing if you just walked up the hill to Brown. Whatever, ”no more drugs for me - pussy and religion is all I need…” (My religion here is Kanye, obviously. I don’t know what the “pussy” is.) -CR
