An autobiographical comic in summation of a summer spent listening to Springsteen records and crippled with boredom and neurosis. I don’t really know what to say about it here other than that I believe it speaks for itself, but I will point out, for the record, that the title is taken from Springsteen’s 1978 album of the same name. The title track is also quoted explicitly throughout, and is in fact what I’m singing in the strip’s final panel. If you can spot all the other E Street references and pop culture quotations in this comic, I’ll eat my shoe. Not really.
I’d also, maybe, like to apologize to Anna Kendrick.
